The Mayans did have laws and many of them still are around in the modern world. When a man was murdered his body was buried in an elaborate grave while the murderer was jailed if the killed was poor, beaten if the killed was a middle class man and killed if the killed was royal or rich. If a woman was killed the murderer was beaten even if she was royal, rich or poor.If a doctor kills a man while he was trying to heal him the doctors hand was cut off.
Weaponry! Weaponry! Weaponry!
The Mayans had less weaponry than those of modern times. their weapons were made out of tin sometimes steel and NEVER any precious metals. like gold or silver and if you killed a man with an iron sword you would be given one hundred lashes if you used an iron sword in war and killed some one other than a Mayan soldier you would be considered a very brave man.
